A comedy short about American Latino identity.

Angelina is inspired. She's going to leave her life in New Jersey behind, and move to her motherland - Puerto Rico! But her skeptical brother Rob doesn't share in her excitement. In fact, he even discourages her by reminding her that she's really only...Sorta Rican.

Sorta Rican is a comedy short based on the one-woman show written by Miss Angelina about Latina identity. The script was selected by the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) as a part of the Latinx Stream Showcase, and produced in Los Angeles. The short went on to win Best Comedy in the Genre Celebration Film Festival.
